IKEA for Business is the business-to-business division of IKEA offering our unique range and solutions to professional and business customers in office furnishing residential developments education hospitality and other commercial sectors.

In your role as IKEA for Business Sales Manager Thailand you will organize initiate and lead all IKEA for Business sales activities within assigned customer segments to ensure that the company optimizes its business opportunities in the market.

You will also ensure that IKEA for Business operates to the highest professional and ethical standards in all meetings with the customers to uphold and strengthen IKEAs reputation as a leading trustworthy and service oriented brand

 

Your assignment

  • As Sales Manager you are responsible for developing and implementing the Sales Strategy for IKEA for Business across Thailand.
  • You will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential customers with particular emphasis on large residential developers major accommodation providers and prominent office clients. Your role will include initiating contact leading negotiations and partnership activities and securing sales with these key accounts.
  • You are responsible for follow-up and follow-through on all customer leads generated through any of the customer touchpoints to ensure that customers experience that they are attended to in a timely and professional manner and that sales opportunities thereby are optimized.
  • In cooperation with the Fulfilment function you will oversee the execution of larger orders and manage the communication and follow-up with the customers.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that the companys competitive advantage within Sustainability is incorporated into the general sales presentations in support of the overall image of IKEA for Business.

Qualifications :

Your profile

  • Service oriented with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in proactive outreach sales to professional customers and a proven track record in interior home furnishings or related industries.
  • Good conceptual and practical understanding of IKEAs identity and range with strong ability to communicate the IKEA concept to external contacts.
  • Good commercial understanding of offline as well as online marketing/sales as well as dynamics and opportunities within multi-channels sales.
  • Strong negotiations and commercial skills with experience in corporate sales and in meeting larger customers/organizations at senior management levels.
  • Understanding and commitment to company Culture and Values with strong ability to convey these directly and indirectly through own way of being.
  • Alignment with IKEAs Sustainability strategy and knowledge of how to communicate principles.
  • Self-reliant with proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Enthusiastic with strong desire to be part of a positive and challenging environment.
  • Supportive to others keen to share knowledge and learning with others in the organization and to go the extra mile as part of an ambitious team.
  • Responsible for customer relationship maintenance and satisfaction with the client.
  • Maintaining a harmonious relationship and visiting the clients.
  • Ability to adapt with strategic planning and priority setting of the department (sales &marketing action plan).
  • Prepares and analyzes performance tools and reports including data analysis to monitor and improve the project/accounts performance.
  • Fluent in English and Thai; proficiency in another Asian language is an advantage.
  • Positive personality. fair honest trustworthy with excellent interpersonal skills strong commercially creativity and a good sense of humour.
  • Possesses own car and a valid drivers license.
