The Corporate Deals Technology (CDT) team partners with global corporate clients to shapetechnology strategy that enables business value and deal success in complex M&Atransactions. Our thought leadership and extensive expertise in various industries allow usto serve corporate clients with consulting services with a focus on technology components ofthe value chain to create scalable and profitable businesses.
Corporate Deals Technology (CDT) a key practice of the Strategy platform works with
corporate clients across industries supporting engagements:
Developing M&A Technology Strategies for integrations separations carve-outsand divestitures by collaborating with C-suite executives
Conducting Technology Due Diligence to assess IT landscapes identify risks andevaluate value creation opportunities
Advising on Integration and Divestiture Planning to align technology strategy
with business and operational priorities
Designing Future-State Technology Models and Architectures
Core responsibilities as a Manager would entail (but not limited to)
As a Manager you will work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consultingand industry experience helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategyto execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to
Proactively assist the team across deal spectrum (IT DD IT integration / separation)
Lead team on project delivery and manage leadership & client conversations
Lead solution design and implementation aspects of the engagement by ensuring highquality within time and budget constraints
Plan and develop integration and separation deliverables including Day One
readiness and execution business process and systems integration and separation
Develop financial models for IT including synergy savings one-time costs standalone costs and stranded costs
Recommend enterprise architecture solutions and systems based on industry leadingpractices and past experiences
Recommend integration separation or carve-out strategies across key IT pillars
Coach senior associates and associates on and off engagements to deliver on highimpact deliverables consistently
Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and researchopportunities on new/existing clients
Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand
Must-have skills
Strong experience in IT M&A (IT DD ITintegration / separation planning & execution) and/or IT Strategy & Digital Transformation
Strong technical expertise across key IT pillarsincluding IT Apps Rationalization IT Infra/CloudStrategy Cybersecurity and ERP transformation
Significant experience in leading large teams acrossend-to-end client engagements
Strong project management stakeholdermanagement and executive communication skills
Strong data / cost modelling skills
Proficiency in leveraging GenAI tools such asChatGPT for rapid research and analysis
Good-to-have skills
Familiarity with emerging technologiessuch as Agentic AI Gen AI IoT etc.
Ability to manage globally distributedteams and coordinate across multiple
time zones
Skilled in proposal development RFPresponses and thought leadership for
practice growth
