Registered Nurse Cath Lab

An exciting opportunity is available for a highly motivated Registered Nurse to join the Cath Lab at Epworth Geelong in a full-time part-time or casual position. We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced nurse to join our close-knit and friendly team. At Epworth Geelong we are proud to provide not only a Cardiac Cath lab service but a leading vascular service as well.

This role will provide you the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of cardiologist vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists. Assisting them in angiograms PCI pacing TOEs as well as supporting our Cardiac Diagnostic service. Opportunities exist to cross skill into Hybrid Vascular service which covers both endovascular and open surgical vascular.

You will be passionate about patient care and achieving high quality clinical outcomes and consider yourself to be accountable. Working with an interdisciplinary team you will demonstrate a strong supportive and engaging communication style.

You will have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Critical Care certificate desirable
• Cath Lab experience essential
• Cardiac vascular and radiology experience desirable

Our Peri-operative environment consists of 11 Operating Theatres including a Hybrid Theatre Cath Lab and 2 endoscopy suites. Located all on the one level we have the Operating Theatre Cath Lab ICU and Day Surgery allowing excellent patient flow and best patient care. As there is an increased demand for the excellence Epworth Geelong provide to its patients and VMOs our operating theatres are continuing to expand. Currently our specialities include; Orthopaedics Vascular General Macs Facs ENT Pain Ophthalmology Endoscopy Plastics Neurosurgery and Urology. We operate Monday to Friday with emergencies on weekends which helps provide flexible rostering giving our staff an excellent work/life balance. With education as a key motivator for our department we provide multiple opportunities for our staff to develop new skills as well as continue to build on their already strong knowledge base.

The annual salary range for full time Registered Nurses AUD $82236 - $103280  super entitlements depending on registration type year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
