Location:Hawk Subaru Mazda & Chevrolet Joliet IL
Union:Local 179
Schedule:MondayFriday 5:00 AM 1:30 PM (½ hour lunch)
Starting Pay:$19/hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliableParts Driver & Counterperson Apprenticeto join our parts department team. This position plays a key role in supporting daily dealership operations acrossHawk Subaru Mazda and Chevrolet.
The ideal candidate will start each morning performing adealership parts delivery run followed by assisting at the parts counter as afloaterbetween the three stores. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in bothparts logistics and counter operationswhile developing toward a full counterperson role.
Responsibilities
- Perform morning dealership delivery runs ensuring accurate and timely delivery of parts
- Load and unload parts safely and efficiently
- Assist at the parts counter with customer and technician orders
- Learn and support counter procedures including parts lookups invoicing and stocking
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the parts department and delivery vehicles
- Follow all dealership safety and union policies
Qualifications
- Valid drivers license with clean driving record
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Reliable punctual and able to work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Prior automotive or warehouse experience is a plus
