Mortgage Administrator
Location: Chelmsford
A well established and highly respected mortgage brokerage is seeking a confident and organised Mortgage Administrator to join their team in Chelmsford. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with financial services or mortgage admin experience who is looking to grow their career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaising with mortgage lenders to track application progress
- Supporting mortgage advisors with all administrative tasks
- Coordinating with solicitors and clients to ensure smooth progression to completion
- Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence including phone calls post and emails
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Occasionally providing in-person support at local branch locations
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in a mortgage admin or financial services admin role is required.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and organisational ability
- Confident professional and proactive approach
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
