Summary
Great Southern Wood Preserving Inc. makers of Yellawood brand Pressure Treated Pineis seeking a Supervisor. This position will direct production and distribution operations for a plant shift including managing production personnel production performance and employee is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a full benefits package.
Essential Duties:
Coordinates production distribution warehousing and shipping of products per company policies principles and procedures established by the Plant Manager.
Ensures employee safety and compliance with governing regulatory agencies including OSHA and EPA.
Oversees housekeeping of plant facilities and equipment during shift operations.
Maintains positive employee relations and compliance with employment policies and regulations.
Education and/or Experience:
Associates degree with two (2) years related supervisory experience and/or training in the wood treating or lumber industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
