Position Title: Registered Nurse Ambulatory Care
Location: Rochester NY (14607)
Job Type: Contract Local or Travel
Shift: Monday Friday 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (combination of 8- or 10-hour shifts)
Duration: 8 Weeks
Pay Rate: $55/hr ($2062.50 weekly)

Job Summary:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Ambulatory Carefor an exciting job in Rochester NY.

Responsibilities:

Perform patient assessments triage and care coordination following clinic protocols and nursing standards.
Administer medications perform treatments and educate patients as directed by providers.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Accurately and promptly document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Respond effectively to clinical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
Monitor patient conditions identify changes and communicate concerns to the care team.
Assist with outpatient procedures and prepare patients for exams and treatments.
Adhere to infection control safety and HIPAA regulations to maintain a secure care environment.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetings as needed.

Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Current BLS certification (AHA required)
Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in an ambulatory or outpatient setting
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Strong clinical judgment communication and documentation skills
Experience with EMR systems preferred
