The Opportunity
As a Residential Construction Estimator you will be a key player in shaping the success of multiple high-value luxury residential projects. Youll prepare detailed cost estimates collaborate closely with architects designers subcontractors vendors and clients and ensure every build meets the firms uncompromising standards of quality and design.
What Youll Do
- Analyze architectural plans drawings and specifications to develop precise comprehensive estimates.
- Prepare quantity take-offs scopes of work and bid packages for multiple subcontractors.
- Collaborate with architects interior designers subcontractors vendors and owners to provide clear client-ready project cost insights.
- Conduct value engineering and scenario analysis to optimize project budgets.
- Maintain detailed financial documentation and track active project costs.
- Support project management tasks across multiple high-end builds as needed.
What Success Looks Like
- Deliver accurate timely estimates and budgets for multiple luxury projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors clients and project teams.
- Ensure smooth project execution from pre-construction through completion.
- Become a trusted partner in shaping the firms pre-construction and estimating processes.
What Were Looking For
- 3-5 years of experience as a construction estimator preferably in luxury residential or commercial construction.
- Proficiency with estimating software (e.g. CostX Bluebeam PlanSwift Square)
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction documents architectural drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of local construction practices building codes and market conditions in Park City UT.
- Professional certifications (e.g. Certified Cost Professional (CCP) Certified Estimating Professional (CEP)) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Highly organized proactive and adaptable in a fast-paced luxury construction environment.
- Bachelors degree required (preferably in Business Administration Construction Management or related field).
- Ambition to grow into a leadership role in pre-construction.
