Job Overview
As a Sales Engineer Metrology & X-ray CT Solutions you will be responsible for developing and expanding client relationships identifying new business opportunities and providing technical consultation on advanced inspection and measurement solutions. Youll work closely with engineering quality and R&D teams to understand customer needs and deliver tailored solutions in 3D metrology industrial CT scanning and digital radiography.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within industries such as aerospace automotive medical devices and advanced manufacturing.
- Provide technical consultation and demonstrations on PolyWorks X-ray CT and metrology solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers engineers and quality professionals.
- Work closely with internal technical teams to recommend the right solutions for client needs.
- Manage the sales cycle from prospecting to closing ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed on industry trends emerging technologies and competitor offerings.
- Collaborate on marketing strategies trade shows and industry events to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Prepare and deliver technical proposals presentations and ROI analyses for potential clients.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical sales business development or account management within metrology NDT or industrial inspection solutions.
- Strong knowledge of 3D scanning PolyWorks software industrial CT scanning or radiographic inspection technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into customer value propositions.
- Ability to manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals.
- Self-motivated results-driven and comfortable working in a customer-facing consultative role.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in engineering quality assurance or metrology.
- Experience selling to aerospace medical device automotive or high-precision manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with GD&T ISO 17025 ASNT/NAS410 standards or precision measurement principles.
- Exposure to reverse engineering automation or AI-driven metrology solutions.
