About Our Client
Our client is a global HR and payroll platform that helps companies hire pay and manage employees or contractors anywhere in the world.
They are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Partnerships Manager to lead and grow their partnerships strategy in the Japan region. Reporting into the APAC partnerships lead this role is responsible for identifying closing and scaling revenue-generating alliances across a wide spectrum of partner types.
Responsibilities
Strategic Partner Development
- Identify negotiate and formalize partnerships with key players in Japans payroll HR tech and global employment infrastructure ecosystem.
Partner Lifecycle Ownership
- Lead the full lifecycle of partner relationships from sourcing and onboarding through enablement growth and retention for both tactical and strategic partnerships.
Revenue Growth Through Channels
- Drive measurable revenue outcomes through a variety of partner models including traditional referrals resellers and white-label arrangements.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with Sales Marketing Legal and Product teams to co-design and execute go-to-market initiatives and joint value propositions.
Co-Marketing & GTM Activation
- Develop and execute regional co-marketing strategies including events webinars digital campaigns and case studies in collaboration with partners.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of experience in partner management business development or alliances ideally within the Payroll HCM or Fintech domains.
- Deep understanding of various partner models including resellers white-label and revenue-sharing frameworks.
- Strong commercial instincts with a proven ability to drive partner-sourced revenue and influence product adoption.
- Established network across the Japan HCM and payroll landscape with the ability to quickly build credibility and trust.
- Demonstrated success in both enterprise partnerships and hands-on tactical partner execution.
- Skilled in co-selling partner enablement and building scalable GTM playbooks.
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth ambiguous environment with competing priorities.
- Excellent communication negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with HCM ecosystems like SAP Oracle Workday is a strong advantage.
