Kelvion PHE GmbH is looking for a
Strategic Purchaser (f/m/d) Metalworking Industry
Your tasks
Initiation and management of high-quality procurement processes partly in English
Development and implementation of long-term purchasing strategies for cost reduction and
quality improvement
Carrying out supplier evaluations and audits as well as maintaining and developing
supplier relationships
Coordination of requirements (new parts materials machines systems) with the
specialist departments and the global sourcing organization
Technical and qualitative review of requirements based on technical drawings and
specifications for obtaining quotations
Selection of suitable suppliers obtaining and evaluating quotations and supporting
technical reviews
Conducting negotiations on quantities prices delivery terms and framework agreements
primarily in English
Your profile
Degree in business administration industrial engineering or a
comparable education
Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing ideally in the metalworking
industry or in a technical environment
In-depth knowledge of the procurement of metal components and dealing with
suppliers in an international environment
Experience in conducting negotiations and dealing with complex
supply contracts
Basic technical understanding of reading drawings and material basics
Willingness to travel occasionally (class B drivers license required)
Business fluent written and spoken German and English
Confident use of MS Office and common ERP systems (especially SAP)
