As part of their digital innovation journey our client is developing a new accounting technology platform designed to deliver a smarter and more efficient financial management experience.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct functional regression and integration testing for our clients accounting modules.

Compare and validate our clients accounting functionalities workflows and reports against XERO.

Create and maintain test cases test scripts and documentation for each release cycle.

Identify log and track software bugs; collaborate with developers for resolution.

Validate financial data accounting logic and system-generated reports.

Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with end users and stakeholders.

Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance QA efficiency.

Work within an Agile/Scrum team environment to support continuous product improvement.
Requirements
-
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Accounting or a related field.

35 years of QA testing experience ideally with accounting or financial software.

Proficient in XERO either as a user tester or implementation specialist.

Strong understanding of accounting principles (GL AP AR bank reconciliation reporting).

Experience with manual testing and familiarity with tools like Jira Postman or Selenium.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
