Automotive Field Technician

Youll be responsible to conduct field work regarding the installation uninstallation reinstallation of the Stratio Databox our in-vehicle data collection unit following the defined processes.
You will be part of our amazing Service team who support our valued customers with all their post sales needs; Installation Support & Customer Enablement.
As Automotive Field Technician you will
- Perform field work or remote support to Install Hardware Solution;
- Perform field work or remote support to fix Stratio Hardware Solution issues affecting the service;
- Perform training to customers and partners related to work with Stratio Hardware solutions;
- Report work progress to the supervisor and project lead;
- Represent Stratio in front of the customer professionally;
- Create installation manuals according to internal procedures;
- Create harnesses according to internal procedures.
This is what we believe is needed for this role
- Technical degree or professional experience on electrical or auto mechanical area;
- Drivers license B;
- Full availability and flexibility for national and international travels expect to be on the road 2 to 3 weeks per month away from home;
- Availability to work on weekends/night hours when necessary;
- Great level of autonomy and ability to work under pressure;
- Fluency in Portuguese or Spanish or French;
- Fluency in English.
Bonus Points
- Knowledge working with Diagnostic Equipment;
- Knowledge and understanding on in-vehicle communication networks;
- Understanding on OBD UDS FMS ISO 15765 J1939 J1708 KWP2000 or any other protocol used in vehicle networks;
- Previous experience in automotive/electrical maintenance.
