- Science Teacher with TLR (2nd in Department)
- Full-time permanent role starting January 2026
- Teach Science at KS3 and KS4 leadership responsibility included
- TLR allowance available in addition to MPS/UPS salary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to take on additional departmental responsibility and make a meaningful impact on teaching and learning. Youll work closely with a Curriculum Leader and Trust-wide subject specialists contributing to whole-school progress and subject development.
The Role
- Support the leadership and development of the Science department
- Lead by example in curriculum planning teaching and assessment
- Ensure high standards of progress and outcomes for all students
- Champion teaching and learning innovations and departmental improvement
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and strong subject knowledge in Science
- Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Proven track record of securing good or outstanding student outcomes
- Previous leadership or responsibility role is desirable but not essential
- Strong awareness of safeguarding and behaviour management strategies
