About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join the school on a full-time maternity cover basis from January 2026.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS2 supporting pupils academic progress while fostering a positive inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
- Promoting a motivating and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards
- Contributing to the wider life of the school including events and enrichment activities
This is an ideal role for a teacher who is passionate adaptable and committed to making a positive difference in the lives of KS2 pupils.
Experience and Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 ideally Years 36
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to create a supportive engaging and effective learning environment
- Legal right to work in the UK
