Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format) Senior Software Test Engineer (Automation & Manual QE Engineer)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Manual Functional Testing.
- Minimum 4 years of Automation Testing experience.
- Strong expertise in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium (with Java) and JavaScript-based automation (e.g. Playwright).
- Excellent SQL skills for database validation and data integrity checks.
- Develop execute and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
- Conduct manual testing: design test cases execute them and track defects.
- Perform microservices testing (manual) to ensure reliability performance and interoperability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design comprehensive test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
- Execute both automated and manual tests; analyze results and identify/report defects.
- Document and track defects using issue tracking systems (e.g. JIRA).
- Perform regression testing to ensure software changes do not break existing functionality.
- Conduct exploratory testing to identify hidden defects and edge cases.
- Prepare and maintain test plans matrices and documentation to support testing and compliance.
- Participate in process improvements and drive continuous enhancements in testing methodologies and tools.
- Advantageous to have experience in REST service testing (Postman/Swagger) ETL Testing and Jira.
- Strong problem-solving logical reasoning oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to set up/adopt best testing practices and work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to learn and adapt to new technology stacks for test automation.
- Demonstrate resilience and a results-oriented attitude when faced with challenges.
