How Youll Make An Impact:
The Senior Manager of Accounting will be responsible for overseeing Boomis global general ledger accounting this role you will manage all aspects of the day-to-day accounting operations of the organization leading toward the accuracy integrity and compliance of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Accounting you will collaborate closely with various Finance Org teams including Financial Reporting Tax FP&A and Treasury as well as cross functional teams including Operations Sales IT Legal and HR. Additionally the Senior Manager of Accounting will help to identify and drive process improvements and digital transformation opportunities. This individual will have a strong technical accounting background driving timely and accurate financial closes effective internal controls and compliance with company policies.
What Youll Do:
- Lead retain and develop a high-performing general ledger team by providing ongoing coaching training performance management and career development opportunities to team members.
- Ensure a timely and accurate month-end close process including account/variance analysis and reconciliations while maintaining compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Review and approve month-end journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations prepared by team members.
- Oversee the allocation of resources and management of workloads for a geographically dispersed team ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all deliverables across various time zones.
- Contribute to the development implementation and enforcement of global accounting policies and procedures.
- Partner with the FP&A team on monthly and quarterly internal reporting matters by aiding with reviewing validating and explaining actual results.
- Assist as a key player in the interim and annual financial statement audit processes serving as a primary point of contact with external auditors.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement. Drive the identification of inefficiencies and opportunities for process improvements and lead the implementation of best practices to scale the accounting team.
- Provide accounting support and be a trusted partner for cross-functional leadership teams supporting analytical needs and project initiatives including those related to M&A.
The Experience You Bring:
- Bachelors and/or Masters degree in Accounting required.
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification required.
- 12 years of relevant accounting experience including 4 years in an accounting leadership capacity required preferably in the SaaS industry. Some public accounting experience required.
- Corporate consolidations experience required.
- Extensive knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to effectively research interpret and clearly communicate complex accounting matters to individuals across the company.
- Global/international accounting experience with diverse and remote teams across different time zones.
- Strong leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing motivating developing and delegating to a diverse remote team of professionals.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to interact effectively with internal team members business partners and auditors.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to translate complex financial information into clear actionable insights.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in maintaining compliance with internal controls.
- High proficiency with financial systems reporting tools and Excel.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Working knowledge of NetSuite and FloQast.
- M&A due diligence and integration experience.
- Big 4 public accounting experience through at least the Senior level.

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $135000 - $170000 annually applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and as such final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidates knowledge skills experience and geographic location.
