Key Responsibilities
Job Duties:
Assist senior IT leadership in developing and executing IT strategies that align with organizational objectives.
Manage IT projects including planning budgeting resource allocation and implementation.
Oversee the performance and development of IT teams ensuring high levels of productivity and engagement.
Support the design deployment and maintenance of IT systems infrastructure and applications.
Ensure the security scalability and compliance of IT operations with industry standards and regulations.
Act as a liaison between IT and other departments to identify and address technology needs.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their adoption to improve business processes and services.
Monitor and report on IT performance metrics identifying areas for improvement.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
9 years of experience in IT roles with at least 4 years in a leadership position.
Proven ability to manage complex IT projects and cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of modern development principles and best practices.
Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance and IT governance best practices.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure) and enterprise systems.
Knowledge of cybersecurity compliance and IT governance best practices.
Excellent analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in budgeting and financial management for software delivery teams.
Prior experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable specifically working with pricing and/or reserving actuaries.
