Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hospitalist care for obstetrical patients.
• Cover night float shifts (Sun-Thurs 7p-7a) in-house every other month.
• Handle weekend shifts (Fri-Sun 7a-7p); in-house presence is not required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to hospital protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Utilize advanced technology and equipment to enhance patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
• Active Idaho medical license or active IMLC - REQUIRED
• Availability to cover shifts at both locations - REQUIRED
• Local candidates preferred - PREFERRED
• Verbal confirmation of COVID vaccine status - REQUIRED

License and Certification Requirements

• MD diploma
• Internship/residency/fellowship certifications
• All medical licenses including COVID-related exemptions
• DEA certification
• Board Certification
• Life support certification (BLS)
• Current and previous certificates of insurance
• Drivers license
• Professional color photo/headshot
• CMEs for the past two years
• Immunization records (TB Flu HepB Tdap Varicella and COVID)
• References
• Case logs
