Job Summary
The Henry Ford Jackson Outpatient Digestive Health Center is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Gastroenterologist. Join a dynamic team providing comprehensive gastroenterology care including colonoscopy EGD ERCP and advanced GI procedures with full support from a dedicated clinical staff. Locum coverage available Mondays and Fridays 7:00 AM 3:00 PM with no call requirements.
Job Description:
- Position: Locum Gastroenterologist
- Specialty: Gastroenterology
- Practice Setting: Outpatient Digestive Health Center
- Location: Henry Ford Jackson Hospital Jackson MI
- Schedule: Mondays and Fridays 7:00 AM 3:00 PM (Fixed day shift)
- Call Requirements: None (No night or weekend call)
- Coverage Duration: ASAP Indefinite
- Patient Load:
- Office/Clinic: 30-minute colonoscopies 30-minute EGDs 60-minute doubles
- Hospital-based: 14 patients per day
- EMR System: Epic
- Trauma Level: Level 2
- Group Size: 4 physicians plus locums
Credentialing Timeframe: 90 120 days
Travel/Reimbursement: Provider must be local; only mileage reimbursed

Requirement description :
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology REQUIRED
Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology REQUIRED
BLS and ACLS certification REQUIRED
Ability to perform outpatient and hospital-based GI procedures including colonoscopy EGD ERCP and advanced GI procedures REQUIRED
Familiarity with Epic EMR system PREFERRED
Local provider (mileage reimbursed if applicable) REQUIRED
Michigan medical license (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED
Fellowship-trained in Gastroenterology REQUIRED
BLS and ACLS certification REQUIRED
