Job Summary
Hospitalist
Location: Shelton Connecticut
Employment Type: Full-Time Day Shift
Position Highlights:

Role Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate care for hospitalized adult patients
- Admit round on and discharge patients in collaboration with specialists and nursing staff
- Respond to rapid responses and collaborate with the emergency department
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation through the hospitals EMR system
- Participate in quality initiatives and hospital committees if desired
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Active Connecticut medical license (or ability to obtain)
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong communication collaboration and clinical decision-making skills
- Previous experience as a hospitalist preferred but not required
