Job Duties
The Organizational Effectiveness Specialist supports the agencys strategic initiatives to enhance overall effectiveness and efficiency under the leadership of the Director of Talent Strategy and Organizational Effectiveness. This role focuses on providing analytical and administrative support for broader organizational effectiveness initiatives. The position provides administrative and technical support for organizational assessments monitoring organizational health and performance employee development programs training material creation and data collection efforts that support strategic decision making.

Minimum Qualifications
Analytical Skills: Basic ability to collect analyze and interpret data to assess program effectiveness and identify improvement opportunities
Training & Development: Understanding of adult learning principles instructional design concepts and training delivery methods
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to create clear engaging content and present to diverse audiences
Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint Word Excel) learning management systems and presentation software
Project Support: Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects meet deadlines and maintain attention to detail
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels and build positive working relationships
Adaptability: Flexibility to work in a changing environment and support various organizational initiatives
Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking skills to identify issues and develop practical solutions
Customer Service: Commitment to providing excellent service to internal customers and new employees
Additional Considerations
Experience with training development preferred
Familiarity with Commonwealth of Virginia Human Resources practices and procedures preferred
Experience with data analysis tools and survey platforms preferred
