Job Summary
Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with a growing development company who is seeking a Controller with high-level financial acumen and banking relationshipsto join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The Controller will oversee the analysis and financial performance including budget forecasting managing financial reporting conducting audits and assessments compliance with industry regulations.

Job Type: Full-Time / Permanent
Key Duties and Responsibilities.
Ensures accurate and timely month-end and year-end accounting close processes manages allocation methodologies and general accounting activities.
Prepares monthly financial reports including analyzing budget vs. actual results and reviewing them with area and senior management.
Supports the creation and presentation of quarterly budget spreadsheets annual phased budget forecasts and reports analyzing budget variances.
Assists the Corporate team in addressing both internal and external financial audit requests.
Maintains integrity and confidentiality of all sensitive data to uphold trust and compliance.
Fosters teamwork and strong communication both within the division and across all company departments to ensure alignment and productivity.
Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge Skills and Attributes.
YARDI knowledge preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites with strong Excel background
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Education and Experience.
Proven experience in management roles.
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or Finance is preferred
More than five years of progressive experience overseeing accounting and financial operations.
