20 hours per week. Flexible hours Monday-Friday 8am-8pm

• Schedules patients for designated outpatient service radiology and other ancillary services by answering inbound telephone calls and making outbound calls as needed.
• Maintains an acceptable error rate as defined in department goals.
• Must consistently meet the standard for an acceptable customer service quality score as defined in the department goals. This includes being collaborative inclusive and respectful of our internal and external customers.
• Collects and updates patient information in Epic to ensure accuracy of demographic insurance reason for visit and physician information.
• Establishes and maintains open and professional demeanor and communication with departments and physicians whose services are scheduled by this department.
• Be open to new scheduling processes that support positive outcomes.

High school graduate. Associate degree preferred.

Knowledge of the impact of the revenue cycle on hospital operations.
Familiar with medical terminology.

One-year pre-registration registration customer service experience.
