Job Summary
Company:
Boeing Aerospace OperationsSan Antonio Engineering team is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Associate and Experienced) to support Executive Fleet programs on 2nd shift.
Primary Responsibilities:
Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Knowledge of manufacturing planning systems and ship side installation support preferred.
Develops identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.
Leads and implements manufacturing plans and nonconformance plans.
Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
Assists in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and helps document producibility best practices.
Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance cost or schedule.
Coordinates and implements new engineering principles theories advanced technologies and concepts.
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems. Implements lean principles and technologies.
Work with Industrial Engineering and IPT to sequence and integrate systems hardware installations with modification plan
Experience with sheet metal machining processes and composites as well as knowledge of assembly/installation processes to provide producibility recommendations to IPT.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science
2 years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings blueprints schematics and specifications.
2 years of experience utilizing professional/technical writing skills teaming successfully to solve technical issues.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills Experience):
2 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 3: 5 years of experience
1 or more years 747 commercial aircraft (or similar) maintenance knowledge
1 or more years related Shipside experience (supporting operations and quality)
1 or more years experience with data analysis (Excel Python Tableau Power BI)
1 years experience with IVT.
Microsoft Office Suite Skills.
Experience with CATIA.
Experience with GoldEsp.
