About the position

Theres a drive in NZgovernment to achieve more with less through AI. The problem for NZ Public Sectoragenciesisthat theyalso need to meet strict compliance and regulatory requirements when managingdata. AvePoint is positioned as theidealsolution to help agencies secure and clean up their data while meeting any governmentregulatorymanagement standards.

As theEnterpriseAccountExecutiveyouare responsible forhelping theseagencies realise the value of the AvePoint Confidence platform. Youwillcreate qualifypitchand closeall new revenuefrom organisationsupwards of 1000employeesinto New Zealand Public Sectorand manage a portfolio of existing agencies.

Through the use ofanaccountteamit isexpected thatyou willbuildpositive relationships and ensurethesuccessfuladoptionof our software to solve our customers business problems.

AnEnterpriseAccountExecutives role isto growtheAvePoint customer base through the development and executive of GTM motionsin line with market work both directly withand through our channel partners to solve customer problems byleveragingthe AvePoint Confidence willbe requiredtomaintain(renew) and grow (upsell cross sell) a group of existing AvePoint customers.

What your day to day will look like:

  • Own the full sales cycle: create qualify pitch and close new revenue opportunities with organisations of 1000 employees.
  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships to drive adoption of AvePoint solutions.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with market trends.
  • Collaborate with channel partners (SI VAR MSPs) to deliver customer value.
  • Potentially manage renewals and growth (upsell/cross-sell) for existing accounts.

What you will bring to our team:

  • 5 years of SaaS/Cloud software sales experience.
  • Proven success in the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
  • Experience selling through channel partners.
  • Strong business development and pipeline management skills.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies and processes.
  • Executive-level relationship selling experience.
  • Accountability urgency and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience selling to NZ Public Sector.
