Could you be the full-time Bogie Design Engineer in Bangalore were looking for

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

Youll help shape the future of bogie design by delivering high-quality engineering outputs that meet our QCD (Quality Cost Delivery) commitments. Day-to-day youll work closely with cross-functional teams including the Bogie PrEM Industrial team and others to conceptualize finalize and release designs. Youll also ensure compliance with engineering work packages and contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes.

Youll specifically take care of CAD activities material specification and structural standards but also support piping and electrical cabling installations.

Well look to you for:

  • 6Years experiance.
  • Delivering bogie engineering outputs in compliance with QCD commitments

  • Applying bogie design development procedures on projects

  • Ensuring good knowledge of material specifications weld types and structural standards

  • Managing interfaces weights tolerance stack-ups and manufacturing tolerances

  • Supporting piping and electrical cabling installation and routing

  • Utilizing CAD tools (Catia V5) and PDM systems (Enovia) effectively

  • Conducting basic stress calculations and selecting appropriate mechanical fixings

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

  • 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering with material specialization

  • Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes

  • Experience in new product development

  • Familiarity with designing and sizing mechanical structures welded and bolted

  • Proficiency in CAD tools like Catia V5 and PDM systems like Enovia

  • Understanding of structural and dynamic calculations (preferred but not mandatory)

  • Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

  • Autonomy agility and inclusiveness in your approach to work
