As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Cutr youll help reinvent how designers and wood manufacturers collaboratebuilding tools that make manufacturing easier faster and more sustainable. Youll take ownership of the design development and optimization of our web applications ensuring theyre fast intuitive and delightful to use. Youll write clean scalable and reusable code and youll collaborate closely with product managers designers and backend engineers to deliver an exceptional user experience. Youll also help guide frontend best practices across the team and mentor others. Ultimately your work will directly shape how thousands of designers and manufacturers interact with our platform.

Our tech stack at a high level:

This role is Amsterdam or remote in locations that are near/compatible with Central European Timezone.

This role is full-time (5 days/week) and were not able to offer part-time arrangements

About you

• You have 5 years of frontend-focused software engineering experience (or equivalent proven expertise).

• You leverage AI tools daily to accelerate your workflow from prototyping to production. You know how to get high-quality code shipped fast with AI.

• Youre fluent in modern JavaScript/TypeScript and have deep experience with at least one major frontend framework ( React Angular etc.).

• You care about design systems usability and performance and youre comfortable working closely with designers to turn ideas into polished interfaces.

• Youve built and maintained complex production-grade web applications.

• You have experience with testing debugging and optimizing for performance across devices and browsers.

• You have great communication and problem-solving skills and you enjoy mentoring and raising the bar for the team.

• Youre ambitious and motivated by the chance to grow quickly in an early stage venture-backed startup where your work makes a big impact and if youve had founder or early startup experience thats a huge plus.

Our Process

1. Initial chat with hiring manager - Well chat about the role and goals (yours and ours).

2. Code exercise - Youll work through a coding exercise with a couple members of the engineering team

3. On-site (often remote) - You will meet more members of the team with rounds including product/design operations and engineering.
