Your role

In this pivotal role you will support the Store Manager by overseeing all of the stock and operational process of the stock room ensuring smooth efficient and compliant operations from back of house through to front of house.

Youll take the lead on stock accuracy and compliance all whilst being a part of an inspiring team. This is a fast-paced and varied role that combines with strategic thinking aligning with GAPs brand vision. Youll be a role model a problem solver and a key driver of our stores overall success.

To be a successful Delivery Manager at GAP you will:

  • Support the Store Manager to help lead the wider team
  • Ensure compliance with legal and company policies including stock integrity and health and safety
  • Embrace feedback and adapt quickly to change to continue driving improvement
  • Work closely with the floor staff to deliver a seamless efficient shopping experience
  • Maintain high standards of organisation presentation and security
  • Be able to keep on top of replenishment of the store

About you:

  • Passionate about retail and operational excellence
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail or logistics environment ideally with leadership responsibilities
  • A strong communicator
  • Calm approachable and focused under pressure
  • Highly organised and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Flexible and available to work additional hours weekends and holidays as needed

In accordance with Home Office guidance successful candidates will be required to evidence their right to work in the UK before commencement of employment.

This role is not one we would typically consider for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route due to for example the relevant Home Office requirements on skills level not being met. Candidates are therefore encouraged to consider their own right to work options without Next sponsorship.
