Werelooking for our next innovativeSenior Software Engineerto join our Engineering team. Reporting to the Director of Engineeringyoullbe designing developing andmaintaininghigh-quality Ruby onRailsapplications and services.

AdayinthelifeasaSenior Software Engineer:

• Developandmaintainrobust Ruby on Rails applications owning features from design to deployment

• Ensure code quality through testing performance optimization and thorough debugging

• Conduct code reviews andmaintaintechnical documentation to support team standards and system clarity

• Influence architecture enforce security and development standards and drive continuous technical improvements

• Champion best practices andoptimizesystems for scalability performance and maintainability

• Collaborate across teams and Agile ceremonies to deliver solutions aligned with business needs

• Communicate progress clearly and build strong cross-functional relationships

• Mentor developers lead codereviewsand technical discussions and share Ruby on Railsexpertise

• Support onboarding and foster a culture of learning and collaboration

Ifthe below describe yourknowledge experienceandcharacterthis role could be for you:

• I have deepexpertisein Ruby on Rails RESTful APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQLMySQL)

• Improficient in testing frameworks (RSpecMinitest) background jobs (Sidekiq) and Git

• I understand microservices caching (Redis) and event-driven architectures

• I have experience with front-end technologies (JavaScript React ) and performance tools (Datadog)

• I bring 5 years of software development experience including 3 years hands-on with Rails

• I write clean maintainable code and excel at debugging architecture and code reviews

• I value collaboration continuous learning and clear communication across teams

• Imwilling to occasionally traveland have a valid passport and no travel restrictionsthat limit my ability tocross the border between Canada and the USA(and Vietnam ifrequiredfor role).

• I thrive in an agile environment that is constantly changing andencourages team members to collectively collaborate and communicate
