Job Summary

  • 2 x Ongoing Part-time position (3 days per week minimum)
  • Based at Ringwood

Your new role

As a Tenancy Plus Worker you will support social housing renters (clients) where their tenancy is at risk. Social housing includes Public housing and community housing. The aim of the Tenancy Plus program is to sustain tenancies achieved through engagement with referred clients and negotiation with social housing providers and other support services. You will have good case management skills and a good knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act. The role will work within the eastern metropolitan region and will work as part of a team.

Your skills and experience

To be successful in your application you will possess a Diploma qualification in Community Services or related discipline.

You will also have:

  • Current drivers licence valid in Victoria
  • Bachelor degree qualification within the relevant service discipline (Desirable)
  • Previous experience in a case management role within the community services sector
  • A genuine commitment and interest in working with and caring for children and young people in need
  • A client focused approach with the ability to prioritise the individual needs of each client
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills both written and verbal
