Job Summary
Project Control Manager
- Work location: Stavanger (on-site at clients office)
- Workload: 100%
- Start date: As soon as possible no later than November 1st 2025
- Duration: 12 months with potential for extension
One of our clients in the energy sector is seeking a highly experienced Project Control Manager to join their Technical Services / Projects department. This is a key role responsible for both internal and external project control follow-up across various departmental and project activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish budgets and status reports for project control activities with monthly updates
- Update project and departmental accruals and document developments in corporate systems
- Monitor budget and WBS status ensuring timely updates
- Report status of existing Purchase Orders (POs)
- Prepare project requests as a basis for new Purchase Orders
- Support the preparation of annual Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) estimates
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of engineering procurement and construction activities from complex projects preferably with experience in both topside and subsea
- Proven project execution experience
- Advanced proficiency in relevant tools and systems including SAP MS Project Excel PIMS and Power BI
- Skilled in preparing reports and PowerPoint presentations
