Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Abbott is looking for a Technical Service Specialist to join our Core Diagnostics team in the Nordics.
Abbotts Core Diagnostics develops laboratory solutions that support accurate and timely clinical decision-making. Its technologies are used in hospitals and labs worldwide to improve patient care.
About the Role:
As a Technical Service Specialist you will play a key role in ensuring our diagnostic instruments operate at peak performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing planned and predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) on diagnostic equipment.
- Executing hardware and software upgrades (TSBs).
- Delivering first-line technical support in accordance with service agreements.
- Assisting with instrument installations and deinstallations.
- Ensuring high customer satisfaction and contributing to economic growth in your district.
- Traveling within your designated service area.
Your Profile
- A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Preferred fields: medical electrical mechanical or automation.
- A proven track record in a similar technical role in the healthcare sector.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with lab staff.
- Expertise in analytical tools software and general computer skills.
- Proficiency in Danish and English both spoken and written.
