Pay: Starting at $16.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
Schedule: MondayFriday full school day (approx. 7 hours/day) on all student attendance days
The Mitchell School District is seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to provide small-group academic tutoring in reading and math for K5 students. This is a key role focused on helping students strengthen foundational skills and close learning gaps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide consistent high-impact tutoring (groups up to 5 students)
- Use district-provided lesson plans and materials
- Track student progress and collaborate with teachers
- Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Proficiency in elementary reading and math
- Strong communication reliability and organizational skills
- Education experience or college coursework preferred
