About the role
Join Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg as our new Education Coordinator a newly created role designed to support our education team and support our graduate nurses! Were excited to offer a permanent part-time opportunity working 24 hours per week where youll play a key role in guiding and mentoring graduate nurses across our medical and surgical wards as well as within our perioperative department.
The Education Coordinator will play a crucial role in planning developing delivering and evaluating education activities and resources to meet the learning needs of Mater staff and the community. This position aims to enhance health literacy and outcomes while building workforce capacity and competence through evidence-based education. This position will be directly supporting and facilitating our Graduate Program.
Salary range: $66.85 $72.58 per hour plus superannuation andaccess to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
What youll be doing
As the Education Coordinator you will be responsible for delivering education and practice development outcomes and implementing High-Value Healthcare across Mater. With your clinical expertise you will collaborate with Clinical Facilitators Mater Education and key stakeholders to support Maters Strategic and Operational plans.
