Global Communications is Walmarts voice to the worldcrafting clear compelling narratives that connect our mission to communities customers and associates. Our team operates at the intersection of innovation and impact leading integrated communications for key initiatives across the this role youll directly influence Walmarts community outreach and philanthropic storytelling connecting our giving strategy with business goals and stakeholder engagement.
What youll do...
- Develop and execute internal and external communications strategies to elevate Walmarts reputation and philanthropic impact.
- Advise senior leaders and serve as a high-level spokesperson on community and giving initiatives.
- Lead creative integrated digital and media campaigns; monitor and measure results.
- Foster relationships with media bloggers and key stakeholders; manage public relations opportunities and issues.
- Partner cross-functionally to empower associates and communities driving engagement and local giving culture.
What youll bring
- Proven communications experience in large complex organizations.
- Expertise in change and process management leveraging data and AI to inform strategy.
- Demonstrated success in executive communications and crisis/issues management.
- Strong track record of building media relationships and executing high-impact campaigns.
- Experience in philanthropy community engagement or corporate social responsibility a plus.
