About the Role

BlackRocks SMA Solutions is seeking an experienced Client Onboarding specialist to join our Princeton NJ based team. The Client Onboarding team is responsible for ensuring a smooth & efficient onboarding experience for new client accounts enrolling in BlackRocks SMA strategies. The SMA Client Onboarding team serves as business partners who play an active role in delivering an outstanding client experience on behalf of the firm.

Role Responsibility

Facilitate the end-to-end process of onboarding new SMA client accounts ensuring a positive experience along the way.
Collect review & verify all necessary documentation required for account setup.
Guide financial advisors through the onboarding process explaining all requirements and managing expectations.
Liaise with internal teams such as Sales Legal & Compliance and Portfolio Managers to ensure a timely & accurate onboarding.
Identify opportunities to streamline the onboarding process for efficiency & improved client experience.

Experience

1-3 years financial services experience SMA or Investment Management experience a plus.
Prior client onboarding or client service experience
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail & organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Ability to prioritize effectively and adhere to tight deadlines

Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements
Excel skills a must SQL Python or other competencies a plus
Knowledge of BlackRocks internal processes products and fund structures a plus

For Princeton NJ Only the salary range for this position is USD$76000.00 - USD$95000.00 . Additionally employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including healthcare leave benefits and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role location and firm department and individual performance.
