Job Summary

ATM Support Specialist
Role:
The ATM Support Specialist provides ATM and account service support to front line staff and members and plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operations and maintenance of the credit unions ATM network. This position also helps support the institutions instant issue program assists with all cards account and loan servicing requests assists with processing the daily mail and provides training on systems related to ATMs.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Manages ATM devices and processes. Oversees function of ATM fleet coordinates with vendors and branches to accommodate service requests. Monitors daily ATM activity and researches outages. Acts as liaison between our ATM servicer and our card processor. Assist branches with ATM settlement ensuring that proper procedures are followed and training is provided to staff as needed. Responsible for settling Loomis serviced ATMs. Participates in all ATM related projects and updates.
  • Responsible for ordering cash for branches and ATMs. Monitors cash handling to include overseeing branch cash orders device management cash limits and weekly cash analysis.
  • Provides assistance/back-up support for the instant issue card program managing card inventory and printer supplies for the branch network. This includes reviewing daily branch card audits performing branch audits of instant issue machines as well as trouble shoots equipment and software issues as needed. May coordinate with vendor for service requests and maintains service records for each machine
  • Assists with Ops Support related inquiries via chat e-mail and phone calls. Provides support to front-line staff and members including but not limited to: answering questions regarding card usage investigating and resolving card related issues account and loan servicing inquiries. Communicates pertinent information as needed to relevant staff.
  • Assists with the daily mail and payment processing and e-banking initiated wire requests Processes department reports including but not limited to: Visa/card network reports card order reports and the VISA DPS Expanded AP Summary report. Maintain department desk procedures including writing and updating as needed.
  • Assists with user management to card systems. Performs card maintenance such as limit increases Platinum upgrades upon request and balance transfers. Assists with HELOC card requests and Visa application QC. Conducts CATS and PULSE training for MAST new hires and participates in other departmental projects as needed.
Knowledge and Skills:
ExperienceOne year to three years of similar or related experience.
Education A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal SkillsWork involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution building relationships and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other SkillsMust be self-motivated organized flexible and persuasive when dealing with network processors and other financial institutions to mitigate losses.Excellent oral and written communication skills. Working knowledge of the internet and basic user of MS Excel Word and Outlook. Proficient use of the telephone systems.
Physical RequirementsGood hearing to communicate by telephone good eyesight to research data. Ability to sit at computer for a long period of time. Ability to focus on computer screen for extended periods of time.
Work EnvironmentTypical office/cubicle setting. Must possess a valid drivers license and be able to successfully pass a motor vehicle background check to support travel across the credit unions branch network.
