We are looking for a Lead Data Quality Engineer Data for a workstream demerger and migration engagement. Experience in big data processing projects and leading teams is important for this role.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing testing strategies: This includes defining test plans creating test cases and designing test environments.
- Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with development teams product managers and stakeholders to ensure that quality requirements are met.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers promoting a collaborative and high-performance team culture. Oversee test results design decisions and the implementation of new strategies.
- Automation & Monitoring: Using test automation tools and frameworks to improve testing efficiency.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Document testing strategies and results. Define test objectives creating detailed test procedures and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Compliance with Quality Standards: Staying up-to-date on industry standards and regulations.
Job requirements
- Strong background in big data processing streaming services working with Hadoop/HBase Databricks Kafka Azure Data Lake storage Apache Parquet Snowflake.
- Skilled in automated testing using Java Selenium WebDriver TestNG and RestAssured Databricks tools development using Scala/Spark.
- Experienced in containerization and orchestration using Docker/Kubernetes and CI/CD automation with Jenkins pipelines Bash scripting.
- Expertise in scalability reliability and performance testing.
- Experience leading teams.
