Job Summary
Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance of all electrical systems and components within the sewage treatment plant.
Troubleshoot and repair faults in electrical circuits control panels motors VFDs MCCs lighting systems and related equipment.
Carry out installation and commissioning of electrical equipment as required.
Inspect test and calibrate electrical systems and equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
Monitor and maintain electrical supplies to pumps blowers compressors and SCADA-connected devices.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards procedures and regulations.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Support the maintenance team during emergency repairs and shutdowns.
Coordinate with mechanical and instrumentation teams for integrated system issues.
Report potential electrical hazards or system failures to the supervisor promptly.
Adhere to plant policies safety rules and environmental regulations.
Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade certification.
Minimum 35 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a sewage treatment plant or industrial environment.
Knowledge of sewage treatment processes and related equipment is preferred.
Strong understanding of electrical systems wiring control circuits and industrial safety standards.
Experience working with PLCs SCADA and motor control systems is an advantage.
Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and technical manuals.
Requirements
Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or relevant trade certification.
Minimum 35 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in a sewage treatment plant or industrial environment.
