Job Summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with 5 to 7 years of hands-on expertise to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing and implementing tailored Salesforce solutions that support various business processes enhance user experiences and promote operational efficiency. This role plays a critical part in leveraging Salesforce platform capabilities to meet evolving organizational needs ensuring scalable secure and sustainable CRM solutions.

Software Requirements

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated proficiency in Salesforce development tools including Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce APIs (REST and SOAP)

• Hands-on experience with Salesforce declarative tools such as workflows Process Builder and Flow

• Familiarity with Salesforce data management security models and sharing rules

• Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems via APIs and middleware platforms

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II are highly desirable

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with middleware tools like MuleSoft Dell Boomi or Zapier

• Knowledge of Salesforce Lightning Experience and related UI/UX best practices

• Familiarity with Salesforce DX and version control tools (e.g. Git)

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms and deployment processes

Overall Responsibilities

• Design develop and deploy custom Salesforce solutions aligned with business requirements and technical best practices.

• Adapt Salesforce configurations and extend platform capabilities through development and customization.

• Collaborate actively with business analysts project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.

• Integrate Salesforce with external enterprise systems to facilitate seamless data flow and automation.

• Monitor troubleshoot and optimize system performance ensuring high availability and efficiency.

• Conduct code reviews enforce development standards and mentor junior team members to foster technical growth and quality assurance.

• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates features and industry trends to utilize new functionalities effectively.

Technical Skills (By Category)

Programming Languages:

• Required: Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components

• Preferred: JavaScript SOQL SOSL

Databases/Data Management:

• Salesforce Data Models Objects Record Types and Security Frameworks

Cloud Technologies:

• Salesforce Platform (core cloud SaaS)

• Experience with other cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure) is a plus

Frameworks and Libraries:

• Lightning Web Components (LWC)

• Aura Components (desirable)

Development Tools and Methodologies:

• Salesforce Developer Console Visual Studio Code with Salesforce Extensions Salesforce CLI

• Agile Scrum or other iterative development methodologies

• Version control using Git or similar tools

Experience Requirements

• 5 years of active Salesforce development experience in enterprise environments

• Proven experience designing and customizing Salesforce solutions to meet complex business needs

• Demonstrated success with integrations involving REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms

• Experience working within Agile teams and participating in collaborative development cycles

• Industry experience in sectors such as finance healthcare or technology is advantageous

Alternative Experience Pathways:
Candidates with extensive Salesforce customization and integration experience even if not all certifications are held will be considered based on demonstrated technical capabilities.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Develop and refine Salesforce applications including Apex classes triggers Visualforce pages Lightning Web Components and declarative features

• Engage in requirement analysis sessions and translate business needs into technical solutions

• Test validate and deploy new functionalities conducting unit and integration testing

• Collaborate regularly with cross-functional teams during project planning reviews and retrospectives

• Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements

• Maintain technical documentation and adhere to coding standards and best practices

• Explore new Salesforce features and provide insights on platform capabilities relevant to ongoing projects

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems Software Engineering or related fields

• Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I & II Salesforce Administrator or Architect certifications are preferred

• Continuous learning through Salesforce webinars Trailhead modules and industry events is encouraged
