About the client
Our client is a reputable organization within the financial services with a diversify their portfolio across multiple locations and they are now seeking for a Data Science & AI Initiatives Lead to join the team
About the role
Reporting to the department head you will oversee the delivery of innovative analytics and AI initiatives within the financial services domain. This position combines hands-on expertise in machine learning and analytical modeling with leadership in program management ensuring that projects fulfill business needs and support organizational growth. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to set project scope objectives and delivery targets for AI and data-related programs. Manage and coordinate several concurrent projects keeping them aligned with the organizations strategy and completed on schedule and within scope. Working with different business stakeholders you will develop clear action plans track progress and address risks to ensure successful outcomes across all AI and analytics efforts. Facilitate Agile practices such as sprint planning and stand ups while encouraging team collaboration and inclusion. Lastly lead in designing and implementing advanced machine learning and data analytics approaches using varied data sources to improve decision-making and customer experience.
The successful applicants
- Bachelors degree or higher in a relevant field such as Computer Science Data Science or Statistics.
- At least 8 years experience delivering data analytics or AI/ML projects ideally in financial services.
- Advanced skills in machine learning NLP supervised and unsupervised modelling and using languages such as Python or SAS.
- A strong ability to translate analytics into practical business improvements.
- Experience in Agile environments and working within collaborative teams.
- High sense of initiative and a continuous improvement mind set to drive innovation and service excellence
- Excellent communication in English and Chinese with skill in sharing technical concepts across audiences
