Job Summary

Position: Risk Manager III (multiple positions available)
Location: Arlington VA
Multiple Positions Available:
(1)Lead projects to identify technical functional operational and compliance risks.
(2)Own projects to remediate issues including technical and process fixes.
(3)Work with teams across Amazon to track remediation resolve issues and report progress.
(4)Develop roadmaps to address gaps and improve control design and testing.
(5)Communicate risk posture and project information to stakeholders and leadership.
(6)Develop the strategy and design of new systems.
(7)Coach technical team members on designing appropriate solutions and presenting to executive audiences.
(8)Coordinate with Legal and business teams to assess risks and align controls across platforms.
(9)Develop periodic business reviews by creating and monitoring business metrics to track process effectiveness.
(10)Train control owners and technical teams about controls testing and risk management.
(11)Work to understand stakeholder needs and clarify business procedures current tooling and related risk mitigation requirements.
(12) Plan and lead multiple parallel projects.
(40 hours / week 8:00am-5:00pm Salary Range $121200 - $163900/year)

A Masters degree or foreign equivalent degree in Management Science Statistics Finance Supply Chain or a related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered business analysis business intelligence engineering data engineering data mining or a related occupation.
In the alternative a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent degree in Management Science Statistics Finance Supply Chain or a related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered business analysis business intelligence engineering data engineering data mining or a related occupation.
Experience must include:
(1)1 year of experience in business analysis or consulting.
(2)1 year of experience in statistics and using data to back up assumptions develop business cases and complete root cause analysis.
(3)1 year of experience in process improvement including Six Sigma and/or AGILE techniques.
(4)1 year of experience in displaying quantitative data to present findings.
(5)1 year of experience researching analyzing and summarizing data into business cases using SQL Excel and Access.
