Accountant IIIPosition Overview
This position within the International Accounting department will be responsible for performing accounting duties for the international entities. This position includes managing relationships with local accounting teams and applying local and US GAAP accounting principles to prepare accurate and timely reporting and related analyses.
Responsibilities:
Prepare journal entries with adequate supporting documentation.
Monitor maintain and reconcile intercompany accounts between the parent company and the international entities.
Draft reporting packages for the international entities or review and approve reporting packages provided by local accountants/3rd party service providers.
Manage month/quarter/year-end process to ensure all is accomplished on a timely basis to meet required deadlines internally and externally.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Document and maintain current processes and procedures.
Participate in business and system projects that impact international accounting.
Work with all areas of Finance (Financial Services Treasury Corporate Assets and Tax) and outside of Finance (IS group Customer service etc.) to support financial operations of the international entities.
Recognize process improvement opportunities and make recommendations to improve quality timeliness and accuracy of international transactions.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or related.
3 - 5 years accounting experience in accounting or finance.
Existing understanding and knowledge of US GAAP is ; knowledge of international accounting standards is preferred.
Demonstrates excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and ability to work with detail.
Follows direction without close supervision.
Preferred:
Experience with accounting matters in foreign currency is highly preferred.
Bilingual in Mandarin Dutch or French is a plus.
Experience with Oracle Fusion is a plus.

Work Arrangement:
This role is offered as a primarily remote position with 23 days per month in our Dalton office expected. Candidates must have reliable internet access and be available during Eastern Time business hours with occasional virtual meetings outside these hours to accommodate our international teams. We use Microsoft Teams for daily operations. Clear communication and time management are essential.
