Job Overview
We are seeking a talented Junior Graphic Designer with a creative flair to join our team in Bangalore. This is a full-time role requiring up to 3 years of experience in graphic design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs that align with our strategic business objectives.
A good Graphic Designer is able to leverage their creativity imagination and visual design skills to produce designs that embody a brands message. They should be technically proficient in using graphic design software and thoroughly understand design principles colour theory and typography. Good Graphic Designers should also possess excellent communication skills that help them in collaborating with clients and decision-makers to create compelling designs according to the clients brief and feedback. They should also strive to stay updated about the latest design trends and software.
- Strong visual and graphic design skills
- Proficiency in graphic design software like CorelDRAW Photoshop Illustrator and InDesign
- Ability to conceptualise and develop visual ideas
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of colour theory and typography
- Time management and multitasking ability
- A portfolio that demonstrates design ability
Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator and Indesign
- Strong grasp of typography principles to effectively convey brand messages through design.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think out of the box and generate innovative ideas.
- Experience with Figma for designing and prototyping user interfaces and experiences.
- Expertise in layout design to ensure visual coherence and appeal in marketing materials.
- Familiarity with Adobe InDesign for efficient creation of print and digital publications.
- Excellent communication skills to understand and execute design briefs accurately.
- Attention to detail ensuring all designs meet high-quality standards and brand guidelines.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create and design various materials for digital and print ensuring brand consistency.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and deliver on tight deadlines.
- Collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts and strategies.
- Present design ideas and drafts to stakeholders for approval and feedback.
- Develop visual content for social media platforms to enhance brand visibility.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and tools to improve design processes.
- Assist in the creation of marketing collateral such as brochures flyers and presentations.
- Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand.
