Job Summary

Student Worker Floor Associate

Number of Openings: 10

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

Welcome all to The 1842. Taking care of The 1842 by removing trash cleaning up spills setting up games/activities and reporting problems that may arise.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Provide welcoming atmosphere
  • Empty trash and recycling cans when they become full
  • Clean up spills of beverage and food
  • Dispose of trash and wipe down tables in between uses
  • Provide tv channel changes when requested
  • Help in completing opening and closing tasks
  • Once an hour bathroom and patio checks for tidiness
  • Helping to set up run and tear down special events
  • Report of equipment that is broken or not functioning as intended
  • Report any actions or incidents that jeopardize student safety damage property or are unlawful that occur on the grounds of the facility
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Willingness to work with others
  • Good communication skills
  • Available to work nights and weekends

Potential Future Career Benefit:

  • Hospitality experience
  • Working in group settings

NOTE:
