Student Worker Floor Associate
Number of Openings: 10
Purpose/Objective of the Role:
Welcome all to The 1842. Taking care of The 1842 by removing trash cleaning up spills setting up games/activities and reporting problems that may arise.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Provide welcoming atmosphere
- Empty trash and recycling cans when they become full
- Clean up spills of beverage and food
- Dispose of trash and wipe down tables in between uses
- Provide tv channel changes when requested
- Help in completing opening and closing tasks
- Once an hour bathroom and patio checks for tidiness
- Helping to set up run and tear down special events
- Report of equipment that is broken or not functioning as intended
- Report any actions or incidents that jeopardize student safety damage property or are unlawful that occur on the grounds of the facility
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications/Skills:
- Willingness to work with others
- Good communication skills
- Available to work nights and weekends
Potential Future Career Benefit:
- Hospitality experience
- Working in group settings
