What Youll Do:

• Perform expert-level maintenance and repairs on commercial heating and cooling systemseverything from centrifugal compressors and steam turbines to screw chillers.

• Install full mechanical systems (chillers rooftop units pumps plumbing) and fine-tune drive components using laser alignment and vibration analysis tools.

• Be a trusted technical advisor to our customersoffer solutions quotes and insight to ensure maximum system efficiency and reliability.

• Collaborate with skilled journeymen and support apprentices sharing knowledge and shaping the next generation of talent.

Who You Are:

• I am a skilled mechanic with 3-5 years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.

• Capable of working on pumps fans towers chillers boilers compressors and hydrocarbon/ammonia systems.

• Technically proficient in mechanical alignment and vibration diagnostics.

• Able to communicate clearly with customersexplaining the problem root cause and resolution.

• Motivated to continuously learn mentor others and be an ambassador for Johnson Controls values.

• Holds a Universal EPA refrigerants license plus any applicable local/state licenses.

• Willing to travel 1020% as needed and join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices.

Hiring Compensation Range: Is determined by the Local UA. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education experience knowledge skills and abilities of the applicant internal equity and alignment with market data.)
