The Opportunity

We are looking for an Assistant Engineer with a civil engineering degree. This is an entry level position. The ideal candidate for this opportunity is organized has solid communication skills is team oriented and personable. This position requires a dependable and versatile individual. Candidates are not required to have an Engineer In Training (EIT) registration but EIT registration is desirable.

Responsibilities:

Prepare simple designs reports and calculations in accordance with project requirements and engineering standards under general supervision

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
California EIT Registration or actively pursuing EIT
Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Dependable problem solver professional attitude and behavior
Self-motivated and goal oriented with strong attention to detail
Solid experience with the MS Office Suite

We offer a generous salary and benefits package that includes company paid medical and dental insurance vacation and a 401(k) plan.
