CommScope is looking to add Strategic Sourcing Specialist to our Juárez Team

How Youll Help us Connect the World

Under general supervision responsible for carrying our broad assignments involving the sourcing of important items requiring extensive or specialized knowledge or experience. Works with the site Operations team to ensure that sourcing strategies are aligned with site requirements. Develops both current and future sources of supply in support of the overall supply chain strategy. Negotiates contracts where losses occurring through errors in judgment would involve a large dollar amount. May provide work leadership and train lower-level buyers.

Required Qualifications for Consideration

Bachelors degree in related area. Professional Purchasing Qualification
English language 95% (written and spoken)
A minimum of 5 years of sourcing or relevant experience.
Extensive knowledge of product line under area of Sourcing.
Must have knowledge of all product lines and associated manufacturing processes under area of responsibility.
Experience in purchasing technical commodities requiring close interface with engineering.
Successfully demonstrated negotiation skills.
Well versed in cost/price analysis techniques
Available to travel.
