Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Jr Android Developer (Fresher) to join our dynamic team in Ahmedabad. This is a full-time position ideal for candidates with 0 to 1 year of work experience who are eager to learn and grow their career in mobile app development. You will work alongside experienced developers to deliver high-quality scalable Android applications and contribute to various innovative projects.

Qualifications and Skills

Kotlin (Mandatory skill): foundational knowledge of Kotlin demonstrating the ability to build modern Android applications efficiently and safely following current programming practices.
Android SDK (Mandatory skill): experience working with core Android components and libraries to create high-performing and user-friendly mobile applications.
REST APIs (Mandatory skill): familiarity with consuming RESTful web services for integrating backend functionalities into Android apps.
Java: basic to intermediate understanding of Java programming for Android development enabling maintenance of legacy codebases and working with existing projects.
SQLite: knowledge of utilizing SQLite as a database solution for storing retrieving and managing app data locally on Android devices.
Git: experience with version control using Git to collaborate with team members and manage source code in a structured workflow environment.
Material Design: understanding of implementing Googles Material Design principles for creating visually appealing and intuitive Android user interfaces.
XML: ability to design and develop user interface layouts and resources in Android apps using XML effectively ensuring responsive UI across various devices.

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in designing developing testing and deploying Android mobile applications that meet customer requirements and company standards.
Collaborate with senior developers to implement new features and enhance existing functionalities in on-demand app clone products.
Integrate and consume RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between mobile applications and backend systems.
Write clean maintainable and well-documented code following best practice standards for Android development.
Utilize Git for version control to manage codebase and participate in regular code reviews to ensure code quality and team collaboration.
Create intuitive user-friendly layouts by employing Material Design components and standards to enhance app usability and appeal.
Work with SQLite databases for efficient local data storage retrieval and management within the application context.
Remain current with the latest industry trends in Android development actively participating in training and team knowledge-sharing sessions.
